Faraway Pavilion

A faraway pavilion.

A parlor deep beneath the sea.

You watch a strange cotillion.

And now you don't know how to be.

A nymph named Chaos claims you,

Intoxicates you with her way.

She knows your heart’s desire.

And now you'll never be the same.

And every time she hears your name,

She swims fast, frightening the fishes.

And every time you see her face,

She lets you sidestep time.

She'll find you, engage you, entice you, amaze you,

Pursue you, and chase you relentlessly.

She'll frighten and daze you.

She'll seize you and shake you.

Surround you, embrace you,

Till you can't see-

Dark from light

And hope from night.

A cheek of sudden softness.

A lantern pulses out your name

And still you swim in darkness.

Inside a storm you cannot tame.

And every time she hears your name,

She swims fast, frightening the fishes.

And so sublime, you find her face,

She lets you sidestep time.

She'll find you, engage you, entice you, amaze you,

Pursue you, and chase you relentlessly.

She'll frighten and daze you.

She'll seize you and shake you.

Surround you, embrace you-

She will embrace you!

She will embrace...
